custom residential homes.  Josh pursued his education in construction earning an AS Degree in Construction & Energy Management from Cabrillo College and a BS Degree in Construction Management from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

 

Josh worked as a Senior Project Manager with medium to large commercial general contractors for sixteen years completing many high profile projects.  The client list included:

Having completed over $250 million and 2,000,000 SF of construction projects, Josh excels in managing multiple projects and teams concurrently while maintaining tight deadlines and budgets.  Excellent at identifying and solving a project’s most critical issues, Josh brings high-value to the Owner and End-User of any design or construction project.  Josh has specialized in design/build delivery systems throughout his career and continues to encourage that approach with his clients.

 

Blue Water Construction, Inc. is a licensed General Building Contractor (License #954633).  Josh is a member of the United States Green Building Council and a LEED Accredited Professional.  Josh is also a member of the Lean Construction Institute, has attended many Lean Construction seminars, and a Lean Training Bootcamp.  Josh was a Lean Construction “Champion” and was responsible for implementing Lean systems to improve safety and performance in the field and office.  As author of the article titled “Better Scheduling Reduces Delays”, published by the periodical Modern Contractor Solutions, Josh references the Lean philosophies of Pull Planning.
